Celebrating the Arts at Sumner

Fifteen seniors showcased their handiwork as part of the Sumner Senior Center’s “Circle of Arts and Design,” a three-day show to highlight the creativity of older adults. Some of the pieces displayed included jewelry, clothing, beadwork, yarn textiles, paintings, and more. As a special treat, representatives from Blue Cross Blue Shield attended and provided free hand massages to seniors. More than 100 people visited the art show, including a group of young children from a local community center.
