Winter Employment Opportunities at NYCHA

NYCHA is hiring Temporary Snow Removal Workers to remove snow and ice at NYCHA properties throughout the city.

To register, visit the NYCHA Human Resources Department, located at 90 Church Street, 5th floor, New York, NY 10007 on the following dates/times:

FRIDAYS ONLY!
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

September 20, 27​
October 4, 11, 18, 25 
November 1, 8, 22
December 6, 13, 20

You must bring with you:

Two forms of identification (originals only) to verify your identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Examples of acceptable documents include, but are not limited to:

  • Driver License
  • U.S. Citizen ID Card (Form I-197)
  • Employment authorization document issued by the Department of Homeland Security
  • Social Security Card
  • Original or certified copy of birth certificate

You must be:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able to perform heavy physical labor

Duration of employment: You will be called as needed during the winter season.

Wage: $15.00 per hour
